Tour des Chefs

La Tour des Chefs is Ath’s flagship gastronomic event. Every year, the Tour Burbant hosts a culinary journey bringing together starred chefs, local artisans and food enthusiasts.

Ducasse of Ath (Festival of Giants)

The Ducasse of Ath is the city’s most iconic folkloric event. Listed as UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage, it brings together locals and visitors every year around a unique tradition.

The famous giants of Ath, the marching bands, and the large folkloric parade animate the streets in a festive and friendly atmosphere. The traditional fight of David against Goliath is one of the highlights of the celebration.

Every year, on the 4th weekend of August.

Christmas markets and light parade

Every December, Ath is beautifully decorated to celebrate the holiday season. The city center hosts Christmas markets, artisan stalls, and many activities in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

The lights and the illuminated parade add to the magic of the event, offering a magical moment to share with family or friends.

Les événements temporaires des environs enrichissent la vie culturelle de la région tout au long de l’année. Entre les grands rendez‑vous festifs du festival LaSemo, les nombreuses animations organisées à Belœil et dans ses villages voisins via les événements de Belœil et alentours, ou encore la programmation dynamique proposée par la ville de Mons, chaque semaine réserve son lot de découvertes. Concerts, expositions, marchés, spectacles ou activités en plein air : une offre variée invite habitants et visiteurs à explorer les alentours et à profiter pleinement de leur effervescence culturelle.

Pairi Daiza

Pairi Daiza is one of the most beautiful animal parks in Europe, known for its spectacular gardens and worlds inspired by cultures from around the world.

The park is home to more than 7,500 animals, including giant pandas, elephants, tigers, and polar bears, in immersive and carefully designed settings.

Between nature, discovery, and escape, Pairi Daiza offers a unique experience to enjoy with family or friends in an exceptional setting in Belgium.

The highlight of the summer at Pairi Daiza is without a doubt Les Estivales. For several weeks in July and August, the park extends its opening hours until 11 p.m. and welcomes hundreds of artists: musicians, acrobats, dancers and many more.

These exceptional evenings invite visitors to discover the gardens and animals from a different perspective, in a magical atmosphere, with numerous stages and performances spread throughout the park.

Château de Beloeil, known as the “Belgian Versailles,” is one of the most beautiful castles in Belgium.

Home of the Princes de Ligne since the 14th century, it is admired for its elegant architecture and magnificent French-style gardens.

Each spring, the castle hosts the famous Amaryllis exhibition, where thousands of flowers decorate the rooms in a unique and refined atmosphere.
